Uncommonly Good: Stories of Food, Life and the Birth of Good Commons

THE GOOD FARM is located just down the road from Good Commons in the village of Ludlow Vermont. This 100 acre property has had a lengthy and rich history as a working farm, maple sugar bush and equine sports training center.
In keeping with our mission of preserving our environment, the newest project at THE GOOD FARM is a Community Solar Installation. Spearheaded by Good Commons creator Tesha Buss and Vermont Community Solar’s Peter Thurrell, we provide access to solar power for both residential and commercial needs.
If you have decided to say “No!” to fossil fuels, please reach out about joining the Community Solar Project at the farm. We can also help you create your own community project where you live and work.
Future goals at the farm include:
- Large scale greenhouse and soil based vegetable farming for commercial use and food product development in cooperation with Good Commons
- Outdoor art installations
- Hiking and snowshoe trails
