Good Commons’ historic charm and Vermont’s natural beauty serve as the ideal setting to create an inspiring yoga retreat, or  health or wellness retreat. Our 750 square foot studio is fully equipped with yoga mats, blankets, straps, bolsters and blocks, to accommodate a class of up to twenty five people.  The studio is open to you 24 hours a day from early morning meditation to a late night restorative practice or yoga nidra.  Or roll up your mats, push the yoga props back and kick up your heals for a journey dance.

Hot and sweaty YOGA!

We have a solar powered Mitsubishi heat pump dedicated to the studio with back up heat for an extremely sweaty practice.  Or enjoy yoga on the back deck!  Our whole house sound system is available for you to plug in multiple devices.

Yoga Vermont Style

The beauty of building your own Vermont yoga retreat at Good Commons is that you can design it to fit your groups needs. You can make it as active or as relaxed as you’d like.

A typical day begins with a beautiful self serve breakfast with steel cut oats, local Jersey milk yoghurt, farm fresh hard boiled eggs or toast with house-made nut butters and jams.  Follow your morning practice with a farm to table brunch or lunch.  Explore the Vermont landscape and enjoy the great local hikes, visiting artisan shops such as the second oldest working cheese factory in the USA, Plymouth Artisan Cheese.  Take a dip in Woodward Resevoire or peddle boat or canoe at Camp Plymouth in the nearby lakes of the Okemo Valley.  Add an afternoon cooking class or enjoy a VT cheese tasting!  Good Commons is a BYOB facility so feel free to bring plenty of local brew or fine wine to our large harvest table for a relaxed, nutritional and delicious dinner.  Finish your night in the jacuzzi or around the fire pit.  Rumor has it, we have a S’more drawer!

Build Your Group Stay

  • Let us know your preferred check in and check out dates. You can also see our availability calender found on our home page under "Reservations and Availability." Most retreat pricing is based on a three night stay.
    We welcome fuzzy guests, but they will incur an additional cleaning fee.
  • Activities

    Please list your desires for the following categories. The staff at Good Commons will compile your information and approximate the amount of time needed for each activity you choose. You may need to narrow down your choices for activities to fit into the time frame of your stay (please note that some activities are subject to the availability of instructors/guides). Once we have a preliminary itinerary, we will price the retreat for you.
    Private Chefs are available upon request for cooking classes, dinners or to prepare all meals for the length of your stay. Select any of these options that you're interested in, and we will discuss pricing with you once we have a head count.
  • We want to assist you in achieving the goals of your stay. If there are any additional classes or activities that you would like to include in your getaway or if you need special studio configurations for your wedding weekend or corporate event, please let us know and we will do our absolute best to accommodate.
