Our home sits on one acre of land protected by a steep Vermont hillside, packed with wild vegetation and an apple tree in the front yard.  Large porches adorn the first and second floors in the front of Good Commons, and a partially enclosed large deck in the rear is perfect for outdoor grilling, drinking and soaking.  The steaming hot tub awaits you after a long day of winter sports.

When you stay at Good Commons, you have your choice of the some of the best ski resorts on the eastern seaboard. Okemo and Killington Mountain ski resorts were named to Ski Magazine’s Top 10 Ski Resorts in the East for the 2006-2007 season, and both resorts are only ten miles away from Good Commons.  Family-friendly Okemo features a 2,200 foot vertical drop from summit to base, a terrain park, a 20-foot hill of snow for children to dive into, an excellent ski school, and fantastic day care.  Killington, voted number one in the east for aprÀs-ski, is Vermont’s second-highest mountain with seven peaks of diverse terrain and has one of North America’s most powerful snow-making capacities.
