SPRING
Come enjoy Vermont. Explore the lush Green Mountains by foot or bike, and finish your day with a cookout on the deck. Spring is prime season for the creation of Vermont's famous treat: maple syrup. Visit: www.vtliving.com/sugarhouses/rutl.shtml for a list of local sugar houses to tour and famous breakfast shops that feature their own homemade treats.
At Good Commons, you can reenergize from a hectic week in the city with a steaming cup of tea and a peaceful night’s rest in a corner of the world where city lights don’t block out the stars and where the sounds of nature take the place of the din of traffic. Our home sits on one acre of land protected by a steep Vermont hillside, packed with wild vegetation and an apple tree in the front yard. Porches adorn the first and second floors in the front of Good Commons, and a partially enclosed large deck in the rear is perfect for outdoor grilling, drinking and soaking. Out hot tub awaits for a long, relaxing nigh under the stars.
All experiences at Good Commons are accentuated by the spectacular setting in a year-round recreational paradise. In the spring, kayak or canoe at one of the many lakes only minutes away. Bring your bicycles and explore the endless valleys. Mountain bike or hike the nearly two hundred trails in the surrounding mountains. And don’t forget the fly-fishing, rock climbing and beautiful golf courses.
Visit our activities page for more information on spring recreation.
