Our Northeast Oktoberfest will be a weekend packed with local brews, outdoor adventures amid the stunning fall foliage, hearty cuisine featuring the season's harvest and a few "Good" surprises.

Friday, October 8th

  • Pick-up in NYC on the Good bus — gourmet snacks while traveling on our private jitney to beautiful Vermont with beer tasting

Good Commons was originally built in the 1840’s and operated as a general store. It has been lovingly renovated and restored and now features six bedrooms and a sleeping loft, six bathrooms, two living rooms, and a multi-purpose studio. The property features all of the modern amenities of one’s own home, while still creating a warm and inviting environment that honors the historical traditions that have characterized the house for more than 160 years.

Anthony Bianciella
(Anthony Bianciella Photography) is a lifestyle photographer, published in several NJ downtown magazines including (201), Princeton, Wayne, The Record Sports Magazine, Milburn-Short Hills, Summit and (201) Home magazines. Anthony also shoots commercial work, helping companies connect with their clients through imagery. He teaches workshops on photography essentials, food photography, Adobe Lightroom and off-camera flash topics and is planning a destination workshop in Tuscany, Italy in 2011. Core Pilates NYC was established in 2002 and now ranks amongst New York City's best and most recognized studio name for classical Pilates apparatus sessions, group classes and certifications offered worldwide from New York, and Los Angeles, to Hong Kong and New Zealand.  This weekend's guest instructor as part of the Good Commons/Core Pilates NYC partnership is certified instructor Sarah Elliott.

Tesha Buss
is the owner/creator of Good Commons. Raised on a dairy farm and doing back flips by the age of three, Tesha reached her childhood dream of becoming a Broadway performer, only to discover that a new dream--a retreat center to rest and revitalize--would soon reveal itself. Travel Information:
The Good bus will be leaving from 45th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues at 1pm sharp on Friday, October 8th. The Good Bus will be leaving Good Commons Monday October 11th at 11:45am to return to the same location in NYC. 

Reservation and Payment Information
An advance deposit of $250 is required to reserve your space on this retreat. All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are transferable to another retreat or vacation rental pending availability if cancellation is received by September 17, 2010. Absolutely no refund, deposit or payment transfers will be made if cancellation is received after the above cancellation deadline of September 17, 2010. Balance must be paid by September 24, 2010.
