Our Eat Good! Gluten-Free Gourmet Getaway* is a leisure-filled weekend that proves that those with dietary restrictions can enjoy delicious, seasonal cuisine without the worry. Whether you have dietary restrictions or are traveling with a friend or loved one, our resident chef and on-site nutritionist will ensure delicious meals and culinary adventures.

This getaway is being presented in conjunction with BeWellLiving.com, an online community that brings together a dedicated group of health, wellness and lifestyle professionals who support individuals and groups through membership packages, referrals to individual services, parties, lunch-and-learns, interactive seminars, and the internet.

*Only gluten-free products will be used throughout the weekend, but it is not intended for those with severe food allergies, as Good Commons is not an exclusively gluten-free facility.

Our co-hosts and special guests:

Sara Sessions is a certified fitness and Pilates Method instructor and has taught people from all walks of life.  The movement-based method provides her a matrix to guide individuals and groups in the conversation of total well-being.  Sara is dedicated to sustaining a thriving planet with lightly-treading people.

Kristen Siebecker has been a great fan of viticulture and vinication since her first illicit sip of Boone's Farm wine beverage many years ago.  More recently, she completed the Advanced Certification program from the WSET with distiction and studied Advanced Blind Tasting at the American Sommelier Association.  Kristen's current favorite variety is Gruner Veltliner.  She was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2007.

Olivia Dupin is a private chef and recipe developer.  Since finding out she was Celiac in January 2009, Liv has been expanding her culinary repertoire to include gluten-free fods that are delicious, easy-to-make and affordable.  You can follow her latest culinary adventures at www.livglutenfree.com.

Tesha Buss is the owner/creator of Good Commons.  Raised on a dairy farm and doing back flips by the age of three, Tesha reached her childhood dream of becoming a Broadway performer, only to discover that a new dream---a retreat center to rest and revitalize--would soon reveeal itslef.  She welcomes the rovolving door of health and wellness professionals, artists, vacationers and more who seek to "be Good." www.goodcommons.com

Good Commons was originally built in the 1840’s and operated as a general store. It has been lovingly renovated and restored and now features six bedrooms and a sleeping loft, six bathrooms, two living rooms, and a multi-purpose studio. The property features all of the modern amenities of one’s own home, while still creating a warm and inviting environment that honors the historical traditions that have characterized the house for more than 160 years.

Travel Information:
The Good bus will be leaving from 45th street between 9th and 10th at 6:30pm sharp on Thursday, July 15, 2010. The Good Bus will be leaving Good Commons Sunday at 12pm to return to the same locations in NYC. 

Reservation and Payment Information
An advance deposit of $250 is required to reserve your space on this retreat. All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are transferable to another retreat or vacation rental pending availability if cancellation is received by June 15, 2010. Absolutely no refund, deposit or payment transfers will be made if cancellation is received after the above cancellation deadline of June 15, 2010. Balance must be paid by July 1, 2010.
